About NAHA

David G. Myers

Started in 1993 by David G. Myers, Native American Heritage Association is a charitable non-profit organization dedicated to helping Native American families in need living on Reservations in South Dakota and Wyoming.

After seeing the deplorable conditions Native Americans cope with daily, Mr. Myers had to do something to help them. So the mission began to help as many Native American families as possible with basic life necessities and self-help programs. Over the years, NAHA has continued to provide much needed hope and dignity to many Native Americans that need a helping hand.

David Myers passed away in 2014, and his daughter, Pam Myers, stepped in to further her father’s mission to provide hope to the Sioux tribes living in abject poverty on the reservations of South Dakota. While president, she expanded NAHA’s outreach to even more Native American families. Sadly, Pam Myers passed away in 2023. The current president, Erin Hibbs, has been with NAHA for over 15 years and is dedicated to upholding David Myers’ 1993 vision.

Please consider making a charitable donation to NAHA. Or, to ensure we can maintain our regular programs, you may wish to consider something more permanent such as a monthly donation. Charitable bequests and other planned gifts are also greatly appreciated.

What Passengers Think

I can honestly say the cruise was incredible – from the music, food, drinks, and service from all involved. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. The Gary Hoey Jam was. The ultimate. I was tired and did not think I would be able to stay awake or stay on my feet all night long. All of the food establishments were very tasty and clean. Considering this is the peak of flu season, I think the ship was very clean and the staff went above and beyond to keep it that way. Great time had by all. Thank you everyone involved.

Patty, Cruise was incredible! Patty, Cruise was incredible!
