All Other Onboard Purchases

An Onboard Expense Account, also known as your Seapass® onboard account, is the cashless system used for all onboard purchases and services (beverages, gift shop, spa, etc.). Seapass cards are handed out at the pier or will be in your stateroom waiting for you. This card is also your room key and allows you to debark and embark the ship at ports of call.

The account may be set-up with either a credit card or as a cash account. You may establish a master account and add guests from your stateroom or another stateroom as authorized purchasers on your account.

For each purchase made onboard the ship you will receive a receipt at the point of sale. A final statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the final morning of your cruise vacation for your review. Please note all onboard prices are in USD.

Guests that set up a Seapass account with a credit card should verify the statement. If all purchases are correct, they will automatically be billed to the credit card. Guests may notice pending charges or authorizations on their credit card. These serve to secure funds for onboard processed transactions. You may see more than one pending charge on your credit card. While the holds aren’t charges, they do reduce your available credit. Most holds are released by the time your cruise ends; however, some may take up to 30 days. Royal Caribbean International® doesn’t control how long the holds remain, your bank or financial institution determines the duration of these holds. If you register a card and change to another card or cash during your sailing, you may still see holds on the original card.

Guests on a cash account will need to settle their statement onboard prior to disembarking. The ship will provide you with specific details.

Please note:
Royal Caribbean requires guests to place a deposit if they are paying for their SeaPass account with cash. There is a $300 daily limit on cash accounts for 4-night sailings. Once the daily cash limit is reached, they will call the guest and inform the guest that the limit has been reached.

*Cash at ATM MACHINES
There are ATM machines onboard the ship. There is a transaction fee levied by the owners of the ATMs, plus any other fees the guest’s financial institution would charge.

What Passengers Think

Been on them all and booked for the next one. Music is GREAT, people are GREAT. It is definitely the best time ever. The musicians are very friendly and your donation goes for a good cause. Keep up the good work NAHA.

Pam, Words can't explain Pam, Words can't explain

I can honestly say the cruise was incredible – from the music, food, drinks, and service from all involved. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. The Gary Hoey Jam was. The ultimate. I was tired and did not think I would be able to stay awake or stay on my feet all night long. All of the food establishments were very tasty and clean. Considering this is the peak of flu season, I think the ship was very clean and the staff went above and beyond to keep it that way. Great time had by all. Thank you everyone involved.

Patty, Cruise was incredible! Patty, Cruise was incredible!
