Artist Performances

There is no guarantee that every band will be on board OR that every passenger will get to see every show by every band. What we can guarantee is that every band announced has signed a contract with NAHA to be on the Rock Legends Cruise. Unfortunately, we have no control over “unforeseen circumstances” (illnesses or other personal issues experienced by any artist).

Rock Legends Cruise is an event cruise featuring multiple musicians. Due to the large number of artists and other activities onboard, there may be some conflicting events and performances. NAHA cannot guarantee that any guest will be able to attend every performance aboard the cruise. It is also anticipated individual musicians will attend publicity and promotional events during the cruise while on board to provide guests an opportunity to meet the musicians in person. However, NAHA can make no guarantee that you will get to see a specific artist or meet them, but due to multiple performances by each artist, it is our hope you will see some of the best shows of your life.

A schedule of performances will be released and distributed electronically just before we sail. We also will provide printed schedules on the ship (along with a holder and a lanyard so you can keep it with you). To date, I don’t believe we have heard ANY complaints about a guest not getting to see someone they wanted to see.

Please keep in mind that we cruise in the “ISH” time zone … meaning if the schedule shows a band starting in the Theatre at 8:00 pm … we really mean it will be starting at 8:00-ish… with all the of the bands and the amount of equipment that needs to be moved and set up, sometimes we get a little behind schedule. Sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t fully cooperate and we have to delay or move a performance from the pool deck. Just relax and go grab another drink or spend a little time in the Casino and win a few bucks. Don’t worry, we’ll get things started as soon as humanly possible. Getting upset and having a hissy fit that we didn’t start at the stroke of 8:00 pm is not going to get things started any sooner. All it’s going to do is raise your blood pressure and ruin your day.

Also, we will clear Alhambra Theatre and Studio B between each show. Once the area is cleared, the doors will be closed and will not be reopened until just before the next show begins. This tends to cause lines to form in front of the venues while people wait. Again, there is PLENTY of seating and typically not a bad seat in the house. There is no point in standing in line getting grumpy. Go grab a seat at the bar or and play nice with your fellow music loving passengers…it’s a great time to make new friends! Or if you aren’t feeling quite that social, head to Casino Royale and try your hand at one of the card tables, spin to win at roulette or try your luck at the slot machines.



What Passengers Think

First time on RLC cruise and it was, by far, one of the best damn times I’ve ever had in my life! Loved every band we saw, especially Sammy, Bad Company and Artimus Pyle! Had already booked for VII before we even went on this one and won’t be giving up my reservation for anything! I do agree with another reviewer that the chair reserving/holding on the deck needs to be addressed and the smoking everywhere on deck 11 was a little much. Thank you NAHA for nailing it for us true rockers!!

This was our first RLC, we REALLY wanted to do this one because of Uriah Heep and The Circle. The fact that Steppenwolf, Blue Oyster Cult, and Bad Company were on it also just sweetened the pot. It was our first time seeing Todd Rundgren, Gary Hoey, Quiet Riot, Artimus Pyle and Elvin Bishop, who were all great! We caught parts of some of the other bands and unfortunately some not at all. We didn’t leave the ship at all because there just too much GREAT music!
The artist we met were all very nice. Loved the Meet and Greets. And now we have new bands to follow.
My only complaints ( and they wouldn’t stop my husband and I from returning) were the saving of the chairs with towels, and the staff in the buffet room seemed ill equipped to handle the crowds, which were predictable. Also, I thought the buffet room should have had longer daytime hours, that would have helped with tables not available. But we weren’t there for the food or the destination. We were there for the non stop music. Gary Hoey and the All Star Jam was the best surprise, we didn’t move for 3 hours, didn’t want to miss a second of that great show. Gary was a terrific host.
We will be back! Oh and fun swag too!
