Medical Attention On Board

There is a Medical Facility on the ship. Royal Caribbean has a minimum of one fully licensed physician, and a minimum of two licensed nurses onboard every ship.

Hand Washing
Guests are strongly encouraged to wash their hands with soap and hot water after using the lavatory and before eating or handling food. Medical experts say that this is one of the best ways to prevent illnesses from starting or spreading.

Illnesses and the Isolation of Guests
Royal Caribbean International follows practices and maintains policies that seek to prevent illnesses from affecting our guests. One of the best ways to prevent the spread of contagious illnesses like gastrointestinal viruses, colds and flu is to wash your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and hot water after using the lavatory and again before eating anything. In the event that you experience symptoms that indicate a gastro-intestinal illness, such as diarrhea or vomiting, or know of someone experiencing these symptoms, you must advise the medical staff immediately. In addition, some

In addition, some gastro-intestinal illnesses remain contagious for up to 72 hours or more after the symptoms subside; therefore, if you or someone you know has experienced such an illness just prior to your cruise, you must immediately notify the ship’s medical staff. This will permit the crew to take steps to reduce the chance that your illness will spread to others on the ship. Failure to immediately report a contagious illness to the ship’s medical staff, or to accurately describe its onset, greatly increases the likelihood that the illness will spread to others and is a violation of Royal Caribbean’s Guest Conduct Policy. In the event of a contagious illness, the ship’s crew will take steps to curtail its spread to other guests.

What Passengers Think

First time on RLC cruise and it was, by far, one of the best damn times I’ve ever had in my life! Loved every band we saw, especially Sammy, Bad Company and Artimus Pyle! Had already booked for VII before we even went on this one and won’t be giving up my reservation for anything! I do agree with another reviewer that the chair reserving/holding on the deck needs to be addressed and the smoking everywhere on deck 11 was a little much. Thank you NAHA for nailing it for us true rockers!!

Mary, Talk about a Rock-n-Roll fantasy! Mary, Talk about a Rock-n-Roll fantasy!

This was my 5th RLC out of 6 and will be on the next one in 2019. It is the only way to do a cruise and one of the best ways to have an over the top rock ‘n roll experience. There are three venues with shows going on from 10 am to past 12 midnight – every day! Once you’re done for the night, the convenience of your cabin is just steps away. The RLC lineup speaks for itself. There is so much talent, legends and upcoming rockers, on the ship! The people, your fellow rockers, are all there for the same reason – rock ‘n roll! Don’t be surprised if you run into a few rock stars on the elevator or just hanging out watching a show.
